Dr. Lois Zachary

Dr. Lois J. Zachary, a specialist in adult development and learning, is the Principal of Leadership Development Services, a consulting firm located in Phoenix, AZ that offers leadership coaching, education, and training for corporate and not-for-profit organizations across the continent. She is also a Program Associate of Leadership Center West, a San Jose CA-based company focusing on achieving organizational effectiveness by improving the quality people's lives at work.

Dr. Zachary's workshops, keynotes, and consultations integrate adult development and learning theory with proven methods to improve leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Dr. Zachary coaches leaders and their organizations in designing, implementing and evaluating learner-centered mentoring programs. She is a 1998 recipient of the Athena Award in Recognition of Excellence in Mentoring.

Dr. Zachary received her doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education from Columbia University. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University. She is a National Lecturer for Programs for Higher Education, a doctoral program of Nova Southeastern University. She is also a certified Myers-Briggs trainer.
