Testimonials : Facilitation

It was an absolute pleasure working with The Singer Group. Lorraine’s presentation on succession planning was honest and thought provoking. The content delivered encouraged productive group discussions and created a solid foundation for leaders who are in the beginning stages of instituting succession plans.

The Singer Group understands us! They are our go-to consulting firm for projects involving strategic planning, group process evaluation and most recently, survey design, data analysis and recommendations. For our project to create the Maryland Physician Leadership Institute, Dr. Singer was able to deftly apply her understanding of physician organizations to perform an internal organizational assessment. She created an organizational leadership survey and analysis of results in a timely manner to help us meet the goals of this grant funded program. Dr. Singer’s presentations are delivered in a straightforward and lively manner and are highly motivating. We are always confident we are in good hands because The Singer Group gets it!

ALA engaged Paula Singer to be the lead facilitator for a national Summit on the Future of Libraries at the Library of Congress. We particularly wanted Paula because she is outside of the library profession yet works closely with librarians so she could bring a fresh perspective yet knew the basic territory. We were not disappointed. Paula participated fully in the planning, helped us finalize the program, helped us select and the train eight table facilitators, and managed the two day conference with aplomb and confidence. As usual, plans have to be changed at the last minute and Paula was always calm and clear in helping the 80 participants stay on track. She was an excellent choice and I highly recommend her.
